Dr. Mannat Kaur is a first year internal medicine resident who walked into college with a plan to become the next doctor. What original seemed clear became a tough, murky view that put her dream into question.
But she was relentless.
Despite not getting into U.S. medical schools, she took advantage of her acceptance at a Caribbean medical school, which ultimately led her to securing a residency position in the big apple, New York City!
